library is pleased to introduce a new service, SMS (Simple Message Service)! Instead of receiving a phone call,
email or postcard, reminders and notifications can now be sent via text
message, straight to your cell phone.
Simply
send a text message with the keyword SIGNUP to pls@shoutbomb.com
and answer a few simple questions to register for this convenient new
service. Once you complete the registration all
of the features are activated

Auto-Renewal: You will
receive a message a few days before your items are due asking if you want
to renew, some or all of the items. If you don’t want to renew any items,
simply ignore the message. This feature
was activated when you first registered, however, to stop this feature,

receive a reply indicating the current status of this feature
Hold
Notification: You will receive a message when an
item you’ve placed on hold becomes available. This
feature was activated when you first registered, however, to stop this feature,
send a text message with the keyword HOLDS to pls@shoutbomb.com you will
receive a reply indicating the current status of this feature
Late
Fee Notification: When your late fees exceed a certain
dollar amount, we will send you a friendly reminder. This
feature was activated when you first registered, however, to stop this
feature send a text message with the keyword FEES to pls@shoutbomb.com you will
receive a reply indicating the current status of this feature.
Quit: If at any
time you want to unregister from this service, just send a text message
with the keyword QUIT to pls@shoutbomb.com you will
receive a reply indicating the current status.
