Electronic Books

netLibrary.com is the world's premier provider of electronic books (eBooks), and the Peninsula Library System has purchased over 2,300 titles you can view online. Our personal eBook collection includes Cliffs Notes, “Complete Idiot’s Guide” titles, computer books, and other topics. You’ll also be able to access Netlibrary’s general collection of nearly 4000 publicly accessible literature and history classics.

If you are in a PLS library now, create a free netLibrary account here in the library. Then you can access the e-book collection from anywhere in the world by searching the PLS Online Catalog (just search the word ‘netlibrary’) or by visiting netlibrary.com.

If you’re not at the library, just stop by your closest PLS library and create your free account there - it only takes a few minutes. Setting up the account from within the library identifies you as a PLS member, and gives you access to all the eBooks we purchased for you. If you can’t get to the library right now but want to get a feel for using eBooks, you can go to netLibrary’s Reading Room and sample some titles.
