the box along the left of the screen if you want to limit your search to
a particular author or format, or by content
Help is available in the upper left, under “Home.” There
is also a link here to provide us with feedback on your experience with our
new search box. Let us know what you think!
Search Tips
Looking for a DVD? Try putting “DVD” at the end of your
search.
If you want to find children’s materials, you can add “juvenile” to
your search.
If you go to “Advanced Search” you can limit your search
to just title or author.
Wildcard – Worldcat local uses ? as
a wildcard character.
If you want to search for a specific two- or more-word phrase, place it in
quotation marks.
Want to limit your search to a single branch? Unfortunately the Beta product
is not currently set-up to limit by location. However, your location
will show up first in the results list. Please see a library staff
member for further assistance.
What is Request Item? By clicking on the “Request
Item” button and filling out the form, you are requesting
an inter-library loan. That is, you are requesting materials from
other library systems outside of the Peninsula Library System. $ Please
be advised there are additional charges from both your library and the lending
library for this service.
Please note: This is a beta product that we are testing. Some
features may change without warning.
