How are book awards chosen? Come learn and participate in our mock elections!

The Caldecott Medal, a yearly award given for the illustrations in a children's book, will be discussed on Mondays, and the Newbery Medal, an award for children's fiction, will be discussed on Thursdays. Join us to learn more and cast your very own vote before the winners are selected on February 2nd!!

Attorney Shawn Mowry will discuss citation basics, how to act when pulled over, how to fight your ticket, how to save money, and even how to appeal your ticket. Even if you haven’t recently got a ticket, this lecture is still very valuable to every person who drives a motor vehicle.
