- Fill Out A Voter Registration Form Now
Click here (ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL) to download and complete the voter registration form on your computer. When you fill in your address, the address for your county elections office will automatically be added. Then simply print the form, sign it, and mail it directly to your county elections office.
- Have A Voter Registration Form Mailed to You
Click here (ENGLISH | ESPAÑOL) to fill out a voter registration form that will be mailed to you for your signature. Because state law requires you to provide a valid signature on a voter registration card, you will not be registered to vote until your county elections office receives a signed copy of this form.
It will be approximately 7 to 14 days before you receive this form. Because all voter registration forms must be postmarked (or hand delivered to the appropriate county elections office) 15 days before an election, you should not exercise this option fewer than 30 days before an election.
- Pick Up A Voter Registration Form
You can pick up a voter registration form at your county elections office, library, or U.S. Post Office. It is important that your voter registration form be filled out completely and be postmarked or hand-delivered to your county elections office at least 15 days before the election.

As a California voter, you should be aware that in some areas, local elections are held on dates that do not coincide with statewide election dates. The 15-day close of registration deadline for these local elections varies depending on the actual date of the election.
