Join us to explore the wilderness in your backyard. The San Francisco Bay Area offers a variety of backpacking destinations, perfect for all ages and abilities. Avid hiker and author Jim Rogers will present 10 great backpacking trips within a one- to two-hour drive of anywhere in the Bay Area. As Jim takes you from Point Reyes National Seashore to the Ohlone Wilderness, and to Butano and Henry Coe State Parks, he’ll introduce you to natural and historic features to discover on foot.
